so many awesome ideas.
* why, why WHY do the Caldari drones fire gunnery? Especially when the amarr ones use mini (fricken)laserbeams? Surely an explosive warhead sitting on the end of some sort of tube containing fuel would be more appropriate, considering the Wasp is 70m on the long axis. And while we're on the subject, the Wasp looks rubbish. Nothing Caldari-like about it.
* Bookmarks take 6 weeks to load.
* When you press the 'fitting' button on the left of your screen, the fittings window appears. When you press it again, it disappears. This is a great feature. Why is this small bit of programming not incorporated into the rest of the buttons? Srsly you guys.
* Local has GOT to go. Its been said before but i believe any system from 0.2 and below should be local-free. Maybe even if it was some sort of Sansha-only effect? A localized distortion of communications hardware, etc? Perhaps even something that players could fight over, similar to FW's bunkers n stuff?
* The ship scanner. Why do all ships have the same range? This is counter-intuitive. Why can tiny frigates 'see' the same range as a carrier?
* ECM Burst. 6km. Really? 6? Other than anti-drone use (which i've not tested), how on earth is this useful, when tacklers will orbit at >10km? I'd suggest concentric-ring orders of power, the further out you are the less likely that you will break the lock. This would mean that it could potentially still be useful all the way out to maybe even 15km, but it wouldnt be very likely. Or whatever.
* EVE Radio doesn't work in EVE.
* EVE splash screen, that shows space, nebula and currently that drone/sansha thing. Why isn't the EVE News service being displayed on an ingame billboard on that screen? That would be cool.
* Not being able to instantly/quickly unlock targets. A triple-click system would make this do-able and unlikely to be done accidentally by players in the heat of battle.
* In contracts, and i may be wrong, i see nothing that tells me whether the contract for a ship + 2 rigs is a ship FITTED with 2 rigs or a ship AND 2 rigs.
* Features & Ideas Board - there is some gold in there, hidden among tons and tons of pure elephant droppings. I don't know if this is the case, but i'd like to know if CCP have looked at some stuff and actually taken it to heart, or put it on a list of 'do-able' things?
* Wider Community Interaction Boards or something - CCP would say "hey guys we're gonna be working on X as our next bug-feature-fix", and the community would then break down into a miniforum JUST for that one thing, containing a Features & Ideas part, general complaints regarding it and proper testing threads too. At the moment, much of this seems very general, and could eventually give CCP an idea of where most people are interested in helping develop EVE.
* Further to previous point; Have CCP tell the community what specifically becomes a problem when someone suggests something that much of the community likes the idea of, or that CCP are thinking of changing/altering "but its going to affect X". Crowdsourcing etc.
* Perhaps a weekly "top 10 minor bugs" thread that CCP could look into and report on? Or that the community could vote as priories, meaning that the community would decide via statistics and averages which issues should be worked on over and above others. This may be too much involvement and potentially open to abuse.
* A timeframe for the ship updates (re Scorpion). Many people have many differing views on this, but it'd be nice if we knew as and when CCP will be revising ship models/etc. Kinda like looking forward to a weekend break.
* An in-game voice system that has the functionality of teamspeak/ventrillo. With a decibel cap, rather than just volume control, to compensate for some people that insist on chewing their microphones.
